Annotation. Providing artistic and aesthetic development of preschool children
is a modern requirement. When developing technical skills in fine arts in senior
preschool children, it is necessary to form in them the values of culture and aesthetic
beauty.
In the senior preschool group, emotional, moral, aesthetic abilities, as well as the
ability for artistic activity are intensively developed. The ability to perceive and
understand the meanings of works of art is the formation of an aesthetic perception of
manifestations of beauty in the surrounding world, the manifestation of aesthetic
feelings and emotions.
The work presents a number of methodological recommendations for the artistic
and aesthetic development of preschool children of the senior group. As a result, it is
noted that preschool children need to be able to perceive art, aesthetic objects of art, as
well as to show initiative, independence and individuality in their artistic and aesthetic
activities.
