THE EDUCATIONAL VALUE OF FOLK TALES IN THE UPBRINGING OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION

Annotation. In the modern era of information technology, people from young children to adults have become increasingly distant from reading books, spending most of their time on the Internet. Consequently, introducing children to literary works and folk tales has become a challenging task. Today’s younger generation tends to receive moral and social lessons not from traditional tales, but from the videos and films they watch. Therefore, teaching folk tales to children and using them to cultivate diligence, cleanliness, wisdom, solidarity, and friendship has become one of the pressing issues of modern education.
