DEVELOPING AN ATHLETE'S PERSONAL POTENTIAL THROUGH PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

Annotation. Modern sport places high demands on athletes not only in terms of physical and technical preparation, but also in terms of psychological stability and personal development. This article examines the role of psychological support as a crucial factor in professional growth, ensuring the harmonious development of the motivational, emotional-volitional, and communicative spheres of the individual. Psychological and pedagogical conditions and methods that facilitate the full realization of an athlete's potential are identified. The qualities that influence the effectiveness of athletic development are analyzed and recommendations for the application of psychological technologies in training and competition are formulated. The importance of psychological support for an athlete's stability and success is demonstrated. In this context, psychological support plays the role of a systematic process of support and correction, ensuring the successful combination of personal aspirations and professional tasks.
