Annotation. Тhe article examines the issue of low behavioral readiness of school students to lead a healthy lifestyle (HLS) despite their relatively high level of theoretical knowledge. A key contradiction has been identified between the social need to form a stable value-based attitude toward health and the lack of welldeveloped methodological solutions aimed at transforming knowledge into practical actions. The purpose of the study is so develop and experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of a methodology for forming motivation for a healthy lifestyle among 6th-grade students, based on the integration of biology course content with the active constructivist 5E learning model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) and Singaporean teaching methods. The article describes the stages of a pedagogical experiment conducted at Secondary School No.4 named after A.M. Mursabaeva in Kant City (Kyrgyz Republic) with the participation of control and experimental groups. The results showed a significant increase in the integral level of motivation in the experimental group (+( percentage points versus +2 percentage points in the control group). It has been proven that the use of this methodology ensures the greatest growth in the behavioral component of motivation (+13 percentage points in the experimental group), confirming its effectiveness in transforming theoretical knowledge into sustainable healthy lifestyle habits. The methodology is recommended for widespread implementation in school practice.
